"From 1945 to 1949, the rapid conversion of the regime in the early postwar period of the history in Taiwan, the people faced country's identity embarrassment of the Japanese or the Chinese; China was fantasized as the motherland for most of the people. Rejoicing at returning to the motherland, Wu Xinrong (1907-1967) revealed it completely in his sleepless, struggling to write the poem 〈Welcome motherland troops〉 and further participated in Youth Corps as the 'Three People's Principles Youth Mission North Gate area team director', to offer his services to the 'motherland'. Until Chen Yi, Chief Executive Office, who dealt with people like 1947's 'March flood' destroyed the people's trust in government and raised the '228 event' with historically indelible wounds. The even left-wing intellectual enthusiasm Wu Xinrong cannot visualize this in the history of the Holocaust, only helplessness and anguish --〈Who does expect a March flood ?〉. 'March floods' to Wu Xinrong, his classmate of Tokyo Medical University, Su-Zu Pan was gunned down with bullet holes in front of Chiayi Railway Station, and enlightenment teacher Maw-Sheng Lin was disappeared after arrest. These workaday scenes like a scared birds chirping? So〈Who does expect a March flood ?〉is a injury and fear image of Wu Xinrong after his broken dream of motherland and also a writing of his adaption after the war and 'healing'. By 'writing' to cure the times, and spiritual injury, the poem includes words of 'to rebuild the nation, revive the race, and reform social' to imply a vision for ethnic cooperation. In this paper, we try to discover Wu Xinrong writing for the healing and investigate the word 'flood' based on 'The Diary of Wu Xinrong', focused on Wu Xinrong poem 〈Who does expect a March flood ?〉, and accompanied by 'The Works of Wu Xinrong'. To the best of our knowlege, our study of 'Wu Xinrong' in this paper has not been discussed in the other publications." |
