"Student athletes in college are often faced with many challenges, including balancing academic and athletic abilities, responding to training and competition performance pressures, and moving towards a stage of independent development. In response to the new national vision of sports talent development, it is necessary to explore the sports psychological qualities that student athletes should possess as part of the teaching and practice of sports psychology. In this study, we explore the sports psychological literacy that student athletes should strengthen during their learning and development process, including: core knowledge of sports psychology, application of sports psychology principles, sports ethics, scientific thinking and action, critical thinking, media and information literacy, communication skills, multiple respects, and awareness and reflection. This nine-dimensional index is divided into a two-way structure of”sports professional psychological literacy”and”sports general psychological literacy”, and further divided into four types. The concept of sports psychological literacy can be used as a prerequisite for predicting personal sports performance and mental health, and as a basis for future educational enhancement." |
