"Aims: To explore the sociodemographic variables of preterm infants’mothers on self-efficacy, problem solving, and health literacy and explore the correlation between self-efficacy and problem solving and health literacy of preterm infants’mothers.Methods: A cross-sectional research design was adopted to select mothers of preterm infants from a medical center in the north with intentional sampling. A total of 113 valid questionnaires were collected. The structured questionnaire included basic attributes, parenting self-efficacy, problem solving for preterm infants, and the health literacy scale related to care of premature infants. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t test, single-factor variance and Pearson product difference correlation.Results: The study found that mothers of premature infants’have statistically significant differences due to age, gravidity and parity, and greatest supporters; Self-efficacy, problem solving and health literacy of mothers of premature infants have a significant positive correlation.Conclusion: The mothers of premature babies provide home care measures to the hospital to learn complete care ability, promote self-efficacy and problem-solving ability, and increase their energy to improve health promotion, health literacy and disease prevention, so that premature babies can gain health. Benefit and build a good health foundation. According to the research results, researchers and clinicians can be aroused to pay attention to the self-efficacy, problem solving and health literacy ability of mothers of premature infants in the future." |
