In this research, the multi-spectrum image capturing extended system of mobile device is used to develop multi-angle spectrum color simulation technology and multi-angle color printing and reproduction technology, which can assist in the blending and simulation of special color inks. Multi-angle spectrum color simulation technology, in a multi-angle light source observation environment, record the changes of special printing ink materials at various observation angles. After analyzing the spectral changes, it can be converted into multi-angle color information of the material for application, which can be used for simulating the visual observation image of the color appearance changes after stacking metallic and pearlescent inks at different angles. It is beneficial for the blending of special inks such as environmentally friendly metallic inks and pearlescent inks, and for the reduction of color difference of special color of proofing that ΔE<3.
With the above technology, the spectrum color matching online technology can be developed. Through the matching database, it is conducive to remote color retrieval and solves the problem of color matching of special pigment with shiny metallic colors. In this research, the metallic color samples can be analyzed through the color spectral reflectance data to ensure that special colors can be used for color matching operations. In addition, a variety of materials are used for color matching simulation to realize the color matching analysis of special materials, achieve the precise blending of gloss colors, and increase the application value of printing with special materials. Therefore, with the continuous improvement of printing technology and aesthetic requirements, the quality requirements of printed products include the material of printing substrate, and post-printing processing, etc. These characteristics can be described by the color and gloss changes observed from multiple angles, and can also be presented through color temperature. Technologies in this research can be expand the field of use for industries that use non-paper materials such as the plastic industry, textile industry, or ceramic tile industry that require color. |
