Urban renewal leads to the restructuring of urban functions and is regarded as a development method to practice public interest. However, at this stage, the renewal of laws and regulations, the review system or the planning process only protects the rights and interests of stakeholders in the renewal area, and lacks attention to the rights and interests of residents near the renewal area. This study considers residents to be the ones who most directly feel the Quality of the living environment. The case of Yongchun urban renewal in Taipei City is selected as the empirical object. The opinions of residents near the renewal area are understood through questionnaire surveys, and their understanding of Examine the relevance of those who understand the urban renewal policy, practice the renewal public interest awareness, and the tolerance for changes in the Quality of the living environment. The empirical results show that the more residents near the renewal area understand the renewal policy, the more positive they are about the purpose of practicing the public interest policy, and the more they can tolerate the change in environmental Quality during the renewal process. |
