國家歷史圖像數位服務研究：以「加拿大圖像」為例

Exploration of the Digital Services of National Historical Images at the Webs of Images Canada

加拿大國家圖書館暨檔案館（Library and Archives Canada，簡稱LAC）勇於突破舊有脈絡，追尋數位創新格局，早在西元（以下同）2002年即開發建置「加拿大圖像」（Images Canada）網頁。透過該協作性單一窗口網頁，可提供使用者探索與利用加拿大集體記憶的歷史圖像。本研究方法主要以文獻探討法為主，首先綜述LAC整合歷程、服務與職責，研究目的主要探究「加拿大圖像」檔案數位創新服務機制與內涵。研究結果發現，LAC數位創新「加拿大圖像」，活化國家圖像檔案，演繹先民歷史，提倡以人為本的數位服務，重視使用者應用體驗，建置成果經驗相當值得借鏡。文末並提出建議，以供相關各界酌參。

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has pursued digital innovation and develop Images Canada as early as in 2002. The historical images were offered from different involving cultural organizations. Images Canada provides a single window website for users to browse, access and utilize the collective memory of all Canadians. The research method is mainly dominated by literature review. Beginning with the establishment of integrative process, services and responsibilities of LAC, the main purpose of this article is to introduce Images Canada, and study the file mechanism and digital innovative services of the website. The findings include: the contributions on digital innovation and the exposure of Canadian image encouragement on the activation and use of national image archive, the enrichment in historical interpretation of Canadian ancestors, promotion on user-oriented digital interactive service. It is well worth to learn from the achievements of LAC's experience. Suggestions for the development and promotion of Images Canada are proposed for future reference.
