Your Story, Our History is the image of the National Archives of Australia to encourage Australian Government agencies address their information and records management obligations. In the provision of archive services, the Archives contributes to the promotion of access to the national archival collection by providing fact sheets and step-by-step research guide to help users quickly to understand the collection and service facilities. In addition, the Archives offers a range of educational activities and programs for children from schools, for example, on site vising allows students to explore study and interact with the records, thereby they can gain a better understanding of Australia's past and social development. Moreover, the National Archives promotes archival research in Australia and encourage scholarly use of archival resources. School education programs enable the Archives to create an awareness of the collection for students from childhood. The National Archives Administration of R.O.C. can learn from the National Archives of Australia for the services arrangements to foster the engagement of the general public with the national archival collection. |
