Since its establishment in 1928, the Executive Yuan (Cabinet) of the Republic of China has undergone several changes in organizational structure. The amendments to the Organizational Act of the Executive Yuan, starting from 1987, marked the beginning of the roughly quarter-century Organizational Reform Project. A new organizational structure of the Executive Yuan has established after the passage of the ''four organizational reform laws,'' and has been effective from January 2012. For the acquisition of the organizational reform-related archives, the National Archives Administration of the ROC made an effort to select archives in 6 key government agencies. This article reviews the process of the organizational reform and introduces the practices of the selection of related archives. |
