Introduction to Digital Archiving Policy of Swiss Federal Archives

瑞士聯邦檔案館電子檔案的典藏需求、典藏原則、貯存格式標準及典藏工具發展，清楚而明確規範。對於電子檔案管理營運及長期保存議題，均有其解決之道。在電子檔案長期保存技術上，瑞士聯邦檔案館自行開發的關連式資料庫管理系統典藏工具令人印象深刻，目前約有近百大小檔案館實際運作，相關經驗具有高度可行性，值得我國發展電子檔案管理政策之參考。

The policy of digital archiving in Swiss Federal Archives is to precisely define the requirements of digital archiving, the principle of operational processes, standard preservation formats and development preservation tools in details. For most topics of long-term preservation, Swiss Federal Archives has come up with its own solutions. In particular, the institution has been developing relational database preservation tool that is very impressed. There are approximately 100 different sized archives that adopted the tool in practice. The experience of Swiss Federal Archives on electronic records preservation is worth of referring for formulating our policy of digital archiving.
