The main purpose of this study was t o explore the differences in the usage of connectives and connective particles in conversations between Japanese learners whose first languageis Chinese and native Japanese speakers based on two indexes,entropy and redundancy. The main result are summarized below: Intermediate level learners tended to frequently use the connective' demo'in their conversations.And they used rather fewer types of connective particles.In comparison, advanced level learners used various types of connectives in their conversations.Yet,their usage was still different from native Japanese speakers'. They had the problem of using connectives'demo','dakara','tatoeba',and'so shite',and the variety of the types of connective particles they used was no tashig has native Japanese speakers.Further more,they could not use the connective particles' kara'and' node' properly. |
