Academic journals are indicators of the development of any field of knowledge, and academic journals are also the main channel for disseminating knowledge. As the cost of subscription journals continues to rise in recent years, libraries should therefore be more cautious in selecting any journals that the library is to subscribe to. As a result, librarians and statisticians have been forced to conduct bibliometric studies and reduce the number of journal subscriptions, which has led to the emergence of bibliometrics as an important part of research methodology. The main purpose of this paper is to use the bibliometric R package developed by Aria and Cuccurullo (2017) as a tool, and Asia Pacific Journal of Education, Asia Pacific Educational Review and Asia-Pacific Educational Researcher, three well-known educational journals listed in SSCI in the Asia-Pacific region, are the research objects, introduce the application of bibliometrics in educational research, and provide another choice for domestic educational researchers to conduct literature analysis. |
