As crises of modern cultural identity the traditional culture has been broken up under the impact of secular reason. This study therefore focused on the resulting impact on the traditional Hakka cultural development as well as its correlations with the characteristics of a representational collective culture. The qualitative research methods included in-depth interview, field investigation, participatory observation. The collective data were analyzed by content analysis and triangulation; the results show that due to commodity market capitalization, the traditional Hakka collective culture is disappearing due to the concomitant secular rational impact. Because of the diverse rational norms, an identifiable political situation and the core culture cannot be precisely identified. Based on the policies of cultural education learning, related proposals can be referred to and explicated. |
