矯正機關藥酒癮治療處遇之探討：以美國經驗為鏡

The Exploration of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment in Correctional Facilities-learning from the US experiences

在成癮問題日益嚴重的現今，如何提供有效的成癮戒治處遇給多次進出監所的受刑人並助其順利復歸社會，一直是在矯治領域以及心理衛生領域的專業人員們努力的議題。作者在本文探討研究中已知的成癮戒治有效處遇策略，並以美國監獄的藥酒癮戒治方案實施方式為例說明，並進一步說明矯治處遇中的「風險－需求－反應性」原則，如何針對特殊族群提供符合其需求的成癮戒治方案，期望能提供我國矯治單位在規劃受刑人成癮戒治處遇時的參考。 In facing a serious addiction problem nowadays, how to provide effective addiction treatment to the inmates who have been repeatedly incarcerated due to recidivism, and how to help addicted inmates to return to the society successfully has always been a major concern in the field of corrections and mental health professionals. In this article, the authors explore the effective treatment strategies for drug and alcohol addiction and interventions, and use the experiences from the drug and alcohol abuse treatment program in the US prisons as an example. The authors further explain the importance of the risk-need-responsivity model in the implementation of treatment programs. The purpose is to provide treatment programs relevant to those inmates who have special needs in order to help them learn better while meeting their needs at the same time. The authors expect to provide useful information for the correctional departments in Taiwan.
