Tomong (Knkreyan) Tribal Issues: A Perspective from Tomong (Knkreyan) Tribal Youth

本文為「原運三十」研討會演講稿。作者分享銅門部落青年參與部落經驗。從歐菲莉颱風造成的部落創傷出發，青年建立了自救會來做抗爭，並連結部落中的教會推動部落再造工程。2014年鳴槍封山，堅持捍衛土地山林權益，期盼教育主流社會大眾可以尊重土地、尊重大自然。同年，銅門部落青年也藉由護木事件，成功喚起部落意識，同時也倡導原住民族基本法，並且利用銅門部落公開會議做為平台對外發聲。 This is the manuscript of an oral presentation the author delivered at a conference entitled “30 Years of Taiwan Indigenous Movements.” The author shared the experience of the Tongmen (Knkreyan) tribe youth in participating in the tribe. Starting from the tribal trauma caused by Typhoon Ophelia, the youths established a self-help society to fight for the rights, to connect the churches in the tribe, and to support tribal reconstruction. In 2014, the youth planned an even to gun for blockading the mountainous areas, with the hope to warn and educate people in the mainstream society to respect the Land and the Nature. In the same year, the Tongmen (Knkreyan) tribe youth also succeeded in evoking tribal awareness through the protection of woods events. Furthermore, the youths also advocated the Indigenous Peoples Basic Law, and made use of the public meetings of the Tongmen (Knkreyan) tribe as a platform to voice out their ideals.
