How to develop students' take-away ability and improve the learning efficiency of students has always been the main topic of concern at the educational area. With the rapid development of information technology, the integration of information technology into instruction has become the teaching trend of many teachers today. This study aimed to use the electronic-problem-based instruction design for social studies of elementary and use the Tablet PCs for teaching, hoping to enhance the sex capabilities about task definition, information seeking strategies, location & access, use of information, synthesis and evaluation for the students. The study focused on the fourth grade class students of elementar y in Taichung City, and uses classroom observation, questionnaires and interviews to collect information to understand the electronic-problem-based application in the implementation process of social studies and the effectiveness of students. The findings were follows: (1) The appropriate use of Tablet PC, proper planning time and solve the problem of electronic-problem-based instruction and other issues, will help to improve students' interest in learning, (2) Electronic-problem-based instruction will result in a small division of labor division, but through the task-oriented, can still provide group cooperation opportunities, and promote students to take the initiative to learn and problem-solving ability, (3) digital-oriented problem-oriented teaching can be integrated into the real-time image shooting and reporting, (4) The effects of the electronic-problem-based teaching were affected by the students’ different ability , lack of hardware and software equipment, lack of time and other factors. |
