Children of single-parent families are generally regarded as disadvantaged minority. When most people mention them, they are easily reminded of economic difficulties and problem children, dysfunctional families, adolescent delinquency. Many social news or surveys also show that single-parent children would lead to grow in negative encounters and situations because of the problems caused by family fragmentation which eventually lead to social crime problem. However, in reality, many adolescents have had special growth experience of divorced single-parent families which enable them to experience self identification and self-consolidation phase of psychology to develop strenght perspectives of protection and support.These strenght perspectives help them adapt to life, school, relationships, gender roles. This study selected college students who had experienced divorced parents during their childhood or adolescence as the research objects. On one hand, the methods of interviewing and personal observation are used to clarify and define the strenght perspectives of these college students.On the other hand,the research discusses the process and love relationship of college students and their companions. Finally, the two aspects of research are combined to try to find out the strenght perspectives of college students who experienced through family dislocation, and to know how affect their love relationship. The final goal of this research is to provide single-parent adolescents with more actual cases to help and encourage them through the lost and sad. Psychological process. |
