Recently, the writing of memoirs in the literary arena of Taiwan has been animportant document expressing one’s family and country mood and life trajectory,and revealing historical inclination and practical responsibility.Among authorsof the first generation from China to Taiwan, the four series of memoirs done byTin-Chiun Wang demonstrates particularly profound inside story. Kuan-Shan-Dwo-Lu, One of the four series describing the civil war between Kuo-Ming Partyand Communists delivers new message and explores new frontier by discoveringthe real insight of war and examining human nature.Ting-Chiun Wang embeds valuable human hardship and moving artisticcharm in the process of repeating the tragic history.This study intends to analyzethe impacts of war on nation and oneself, and discovers people’s insistences andbreakthrough during the war to uncover the human and historical value in Kuan-Shan-Dwo-Lu from the viewpoint of Ting-Chiun Wang. |
