Since 2013, National Science and Technology Museum (NSTM) tried to locate the educational function of giant screen films, then in 2014 invited teachers from primary and secondary schools to join the film-selection committee. In order to attract more students' visit, the new film-selection committee defined the films as learning resource for schools. This study applied qualitative research approach by collecting data from the discussion process and group interviews of the committee members. The findings of this study were: 1. the giant screen film with characters such as daily life connection, science related subject, uniqueness and novelty would be the attraction to students; 2. to enhance the linkage between giant screen films and school curriculum by developing learning sheets for school levels; 3. the factors of influencing school groups' visit were transportation, tickets, school administration and geography. The findings of this study could be the reference for giant screen film selection and following promotion strategy. |
