Upon exploring The Book of Poetry, we find that there are plenty of Complementary Mutual Texts and Manifestive Mutual Texts, which are not only conducive to the interpretations of The Book of Poetry, but also conducive to the argumentative analysis of the semantic differences between the Complementary Mutual Texts and the Manifestive Mutual Texts. However, since there have been confusions in meanings between these two mutual texts, it is thus of necessity to distinguish their semantic denotations and connotations from each other, which is the tenet of this article. |
