Adopting the theme of “Subversion, Conflict and Dialogue,” a seminar on the prospects of digital libraries was held on June 19 at the NCL. The Ministry of Education sponsored the seminar in conjunction with the NCL, Library Association of China, the Taipei chapter of the American Society for Information Science, and the Social Education Department of National Taiwan Normal University.
Keynote topics addressed during the day focused on the outlook for e-libraries in the areas of collections, operations, management, and facilities. |
