To strengthen trunk stability, according to the specific hitting property of tennis, can prevent injury and promote competitive performance. Stronger core muscles can maintain or resume trunk position, so as to increase the coordination between nerve and muscle and promote efficient return of hitting. Recently many professional tennis players suffer from injury, and are forced to give up competition. Core stability strengthening plays an important role in tennis. Especially tennis players often use their trunk in an asymmetry pattern, which leads to unbalanced muscle strength. Core stability strengthening can help to trunk resume and hip rotation, so to provide joint stability, reduce the pressure between vertebrae and prevent injury of lower extremity. This paper introduces core stability strengthening, which can prevent tennis players from injury and hopefully will improve tennis performance and training for players and coaches. |
