The aim of the study was to investigate the relationships among working stress, leisure coping strategies, and physical-psycho of elementary school teachers in Ping-Tung County. The method of this study was the questionnaire titled "The relationships among working stress, leisure coping strategies, and physical-psycho health of elementary school teachers in Ping-Tung County". The Questionnaires were 430 in total and 400 samples were valid. The collected data was analyzed by SPSS Windows 17.0. The results were as follows: 1. The working stress of elementary school teachers in Ping-Tung County was intermediate degree. Among all the facets, workload got the higher average value. The overall percentage of leisure coping strategies was intermediate-to-high. 2. The teachers in different responsible duties had variable cognition in workload.3. The teachers of diverse background variables among the dimensions of leisure coping strategies have no significant difference.4. Working stress was positively correlated with leisure coping strategies among elementary school teachers. Leisure coping strategies were positively correlated with physical-psycho health among elementary school teachers. Working stress was positively correlated with physical-psycho health among elementary school teachers. There were linear structural relations among working stress, leisure coping strategies, and physical-psycho health.5. Working stress had a direct impact on physical -psycho, but leisure coping strategies could buffer negative working stress, lower the frequency of working stress, and uphold physical-psycho health. |
