The pesticide residues in 1329 fruit and vegetable samples were analyzed with a multiresidue method from July 1990 to June 1991 in Taiwan. The results showed that 384 of 1329 samples (28.9%) contained pesticide residues but only 48 samples (3.6%) violated the Tolerance set by Department of Health. The incidence of pesticide residues varied from samples to samples, the highest incidence was found in leafy vegetables. |
