In an attempt to understand the status of food additives, total of 55 Cheese. 15 Cream. 14 Butter and 16 Margarine were purchased and analyzed. The Preservatives were Qualitatively and Analyzed by thin layer Chromatography Chromatography Quantitatively by Gas Sixteen Samples (29.1%) of Cheese were detected containing Sarbic acid 0.18~0.89 g / kg. Cream and Butter were not detected preservative. Six samples (42.9%) of Margarine were detected preservatives which contain sorbic acid 0.07~0.23g / kg. All of them were below the allowed Level. |
