市售低熱量飲料中人工甘味劑之含量調查

.INVESTIGATION ON THE CONTENTS OF ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS IN LOW CALORIE DRINKS

人工甘味劑在追求口腹之慾及纖美體態的雙重鞭策下，已被廣泛地應用於日常食品，而不只限於特定人士或食品了。鑑於近幾年標榜低熱量飲料潮流，及高度工商業國家（如歐、美、日等國）對低熱量食品的需求日益增加，新的人工甘味劑如Acesulfame─K（愛沙思芬）、Thaumatin等也不斷在發展、探討中。因此行政院衛生署為了解國內市售低熱量飲料中人工甘味劑之含量情形，乃進行檢驗調查之工作。

In an attempt to understand the status of artificial sweeteners in marketed low calorie drinks in Taiwan area, total number of 20 samples were collected. There were twelve ( 12 ) cola and eight ( 8 ) soda samples bottled on various dates by the same company which is the only bottling firm producing low calorie drinks in Taiwan. Four kinds of artificial sweeteners in drinks were analyzed by T.L.C., G.C. and H.P.L.C. Methods. The results showed that saccharin and cyclamate were both detected in all samples, however dulcin and aspartane were not detected. The average contents of sacchar in were 0.050 g / kg in cola and 0.058 g / kg in soda samples, while the average cyclamate contents in cola and soda were 0.74 and 0.83 g / kg, respectively. The can and bottle samples were all labeled the use of saccharin and cyclamate in drink, however no concentrations were indicated.
