The purposes of this study were to explore the current situation and the relationship between job stress and working burnout for athletic directors in junior high schools. A questionnaire titled ”A study on the relationship between job stress and working burnout of athletic directors in junior high schools” was distributed to 238 junior high school's athletic directors in Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung region. Based on questionnaires from 158 athletic directors, several conclusions made according to the research findings are: 1. At present, athletic directors in junior high schools feel that their job stress is at the upper middle level. 2. At present, athletic directors in junior high schools feel that their working burnout is at the lower middle level. 3. There are significant differences in athletic directors' job stress for the variables of gender, martial status, and seniority. 4. There are significant differences in athletic directors' working burnout for the variable of seniority. 5. There is a significant positive relationship between athletic directors' job stress and working burnout. 6. Parts of athletic directors' job stress have significant predictability on athletic directors' working burnout. |
