The purposes of this study were to explore the current situation and the relationship between job satisfaction and job morale for athletic directors in junior high schools. A questionnaire titled ”A study on the relationship between job satisfaction and job morale of athletic directors in junior high schools” was distributed to 238 junior high school's athletic directors in Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Pingtung region. Based on questionnaires from 158 athletic directors, several conclusions made according to the research findings are: 1. At present, athletic directors in junior high schools feel that their job satisfaction is medium level. 2. At present, athletic directors in junior high schools feel that their job morale is medium level. 3. There are significant differences in athletic directors' job satisfaction for the variables of gender and school scale. 4. There are significant differences in athletic directors' job morale for the variable of seniority and school scale. 5. There is a significant positive relationship between athletic directors' job satisfaction and job morale. 6. Parts of athletic directors' job satisfaction have significant predictability on athletic directors' job morale. According to the results of the study, concrete suggestions are given as references for the educational administration, the school administration and the further research. |
