The Tea Biography described how teapeople love to taste teas and introduced the history of tea, as well as the humane development and its influence on teapeople's life value. The study on tea biographies helps us understand the fun tea loves have and the drinking trend in each period. The personalities of teapeople were also analyzed. The researcher believed that ”Biography of Mr. Ching ku” written by Yang Wei-Zhen was the representing work of teas in the Yuan Dynasty. Based on the ”Biography of Ye Jia” written by Su Shi, Yang has revealed a unique writing style that narrated his tea knowledge, tea culture and personal life decision in the troublous period at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. The relation between Yang Wei-Zhen and his ”Biography of Mr. Ching ku” was also discussed. Literature reviews and comparisons were used to analyze ”Biography of Mr. Ching ku;” three chapters were divided in order to understand the author, tea culture and the value of this biography. It is hoped that this study can be taken as a reference for tea lovers to know more about the tea culture and teapeople's characteristics. |
