The purpose of this study was to investigate on the processing, measurement and training programs of perceptual-motor. These topics included processing of sensory input. Sensory integration, motor output, and feedback: perceptual-motor development of figure-ground perception, spatial relationship, visual perceptual constancy, and visual-motor coordination. At the same time, this study also introduced the kinds of the perceptual-motor measurement, including Kephart Perceptual-motor Development Measurement. Quick neurological Screening Test, Frostig Development Test of Visual Perception, Colarmso and Hammill Motor-Free Visual Perception, Bender visual Motor Gestalt Test. Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration, and Purdue Perceptual Motor Survey, Finally, a list of some common instructional activities as well as teaching principles and notes were provided to special education teachers for reference. |
