In this study, the on-site environmental and external influential elements are added to the potential factors of soil liquefaction, and neural network propagation and microzonation partitioning are then applied to estimate partitions of liquefaction potential regions in Yuanlin and Changhua Counties, followed by calculation on data collected from the on-site 921 earthquake land drilling points in Yuanlin County, for training and testing. The results show that liquefaction potentiality has a 95% success rate. Furthermore, liquefaction potential and land development suitability are combined for rating, and in accordance with the legal regulations as well as the actual land use conditions and traffic conditions, classification on commercial-inhabitation composite land development suitability is proposed. In terms of land utilization, assessments on regional land development potential and limit are also established. The classification on overall land development established by this study can be taken as a reference by land development evaluation, helping to save time for other detailed analyses based on this classification scheme. |
