Political realists view the world as the arena of political power, which operates on the basis of self-interest. In order to obtain advantaged action and to maintain self-interest, morality is often just the rhetoric principle; instead, it is in fact the principle of the power relation that manipulates an organisation. Through Micro-Politics, it is found that school organisations as individual units have interact with their sub-groups in a way of both formal and informal power relation and political behaviour. It is therefore essential to investigate the issue of physical education administrative organisation from the viewpoint of power relation and its effect. Although such an issue has been less concerned in connection with political power, the political behaviour directly contributes to the organisation performance and the membership. Accordingly, it is critical to consider re-organising the power relation within PE administrative organization and reconcile the negative effect of political behaviour, especially in the time of educational reformation. Thus, to enhance the management of physical education administrative organization and political behaviour, it is beneficial to be familiar with the strategy and operation of an organisation and its political power, to re-examine the use of its rationality and legitimacy so as to de/reconstruct and share the power for empowerment, identity and goal clarification and multiple channels of communication within an organisation. |
