The Reflection of Globalization: Reconstructing the Concept of Sociality as a New Thought for Social Work

自九0年代初期「全球化」一詞出現至今，全球化幾乎已經成為社會科學的顯學；不過相較於其他社會科學，社會工作在過去十年來對於全球化的討論卻是乏善可陳。乍看之下，全球化議題與社會工作專業似乎是風馬牛不相及，不過回溯專業發展的歷史，卻可看出社會工作其實就是源自於對工業社會變遷的關懷。社會工作助人專業的價值與理論觀點，容或因時代變遷而面臨許多挑戰，但對弱勢族群關懷的正義之精神卻未曾改變。在面對全球化對人類社會帶來的全面性衝擊，社會工作應如何調整專業價值信念與倫理，發展出全方位的觀點，並建構有效的行動策略，正是本文探討的重點。

Since the 90s, the study of globalization has become significant in social sciences. Compared to social sciences such as politics, economics, or sociology, the discussions of globalization in social work are little. At the first glance, the issue of globalization is irrelevant to social work professional, in fact, the history of social work has concerned about the impacts of industrial social change. As a helping profession, the values and theoretical perspectives of social work may be challenged by social forces, however, the implement of social justice for the disadvantages has never been changed. Facing the impacts of globalization, social work should modify traditional ethical beliefs as well as construct a holistic perspective and action strategy.
