In recent years, most literature of significant others’ motivational climate focused on the influence of single significant other to outcome variables. The current study aimed to examine the relationships between multi significant others’ motivational climate and psychological variables by investigating the behaviors of coaches, peers, and parents that were perceived by athletes simultaneously, and further explored the importance of three different kinds of motivational climate. There were two parts in the study. First, the concept, and related findings from the literature of coaches, peers, and parents’ motivational climate. Second, the relevant research findings of the perceptions to multi significant others motivational climate of athletes were explored, and practical suggestions by literatures review were brought up. |
