ICT-integrated instruction is an important development trend in the realm of education. Teachers' information literacy is also one of the main factors determining whether the ICT-integrated instruction can be successfully executed. Based on the view of pre-service teacher education and concerning the characteristic that both teacher education students and non-teacher education students are in the teacher education university, this research develops information literacy indicators and expects to provide reference for designing information literacy courses in the teacher education university. This research adopts the literature analysis to develop draft indicators and then finalizes the 'Information Literacy Indicators for Students in Teacher Education University' after conducting two questionnaire surveys on ten experts and interviewing five experts. The indicators developed by this research include five constructs, which are 'traditional literacy,' 'computer literacy,' 'digital media literacy,' 'network literacy' and 'literacy of integrating information communication technology into curriculum and instruction.' There are twenty components and fifty-seven indicators in total. After conducting questionnaire surveys on experts, this research finds that the fifty-seven indicators can fully represent the twenty components in the five constructs, and the twenty components have certain significance to students. |
