本研究旨在探討參與本研究之多元文化能力訓練方案之國小教師與諮商專業人員對於多元文化能力訓練之需求與參與多元文化能力訓練方案後之助益性評估。研究對象為臺北縣國小教師男12 人,女25人,共計37名,諮商專業人員男5人,女26人,共計31名。以研究者自編之「多元文化能力訓練需求問卷」、「多元文化能力訓練方案助益性問卷」為研究工具,再以描述統計、t考驗進行資料分析,獲致以下結果:1 諮商專業人員多元文化能力訓練之需求總量表與「一般性需求」分量表明顯高於國小教師;2.國小教師與諮商專業人員知覺多元文化能力訓練方案之助益性沒有明顯的差異;研究者根據本研究結果,提出實務上的應用與建議。
英文摘要
The purpose of this study was to assess the need for multicultural training and evaluate its helpfulness for those teachers and counselors who participated in the multicultural competence training program. The participants were 37 elementary school teachers (12 males and 25 females)and 31 counselors(5 males and 26 females) from Taipei. They participated in a 2-day multicultural competence training program. The researchers eveloped the Instruments of “Multicultural Training Needs Assessment Scale(MTNAS)” and “The Helpfulness of Multicultural Training Scale(HMTS)” .The participants were administered the MTNAS before they received the training program, and they were administered the HMTS after the training program. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and t-test.The major findings were:(1)The counselors’ scores on MTNAS were higher than teachers’, especially on” general needs of multicultural training”; (2)The scores on HNTS were founded no significant difference between teachers and counselors. At the end of this paper, results were discussed, suggestions of the study, and recommendations for about future research and practice were discussed.
