The purpose of the studies were to investigate the working condition and job satisfaction of paraprofessional for special education at elementary school in Taoyuan and Hsinchu, and it also focused on influence of paraprofessional with different personal and work-related backgrounds. The studies use questionnaire survey to paraprofessionals for special education at elementary school in Taoyuan, and Hsinchu. The research tool was "Questionnaire of working condition and job satisfaction of paraprofessional for special education at elementary school in Taoyuan and Hsinchu." The research data analyzed with statistical methods, such as percentage, average, single factor ANOVA analysis, single-factor multivariate analysis of variance, etc. According to the research results, the conclusion summarized as follows: 1. The major working content of paraprofessional for special education at elementary school in Taoyuan and Hsinchu was "Life Care" with "General Guidance" and "Life Training". The minor part was "Assist in Teaching" with "Maintain Order". 2. The summary results of job satisfaction of paraprofessionals were partial to dissatisfied slightly. In subscales, "Working Achievement" and "Working Environment" were satisfied, but in "Treatment" and "Education Status" were dissatisfied. 3. The difference of job satisfaction of paraprofessional with different personal and work-related backgrounds was paraprofessionals who serve below one year moreA satisfied than serve between one to three years. The result display years of service will influence the difference of job satisfaction significantly, others background variable won't cause difference significantly. |
