In a highly competitive knowledge-based society, innovation is regarded as a key to the sustainability and success of organizations. Similarly, teacher innovation is crucial for students’learning outcomes and the development of school organizations. Particularly with the formal implementation of Taiwan’s“108 Curriculum Guidelines”, teachers are required to enhance teaching effectiveness through innovative teaching behaviors and activities. Therefore, teachers’innovative behaviors empower students with creative thinking and habits, cultivating children with a disposition for innovative thinking that aligns with future educational trends. This highlights the importance of teacher innovation. Building upon the aforementioned points, this study focuses on teacher innovation and explores its core concepts, influencing factors, and significance through literature review. The study reveals that teacher factors such as self-efficacy, teacher autonomy, job satisfaction, as well as school factors such as school climate and principal’s distributed leadership, might im-pact teacher innovation. The aim of this study is to introduce teacher innovation, including its importance, significance, content, influencing factors, relevant literature, and practical approaches, with the hope of contributing to future research endeavors. |
