This research was conducted to analyze the ''Ppanashi'' with the data in Japanes Corpus. This research focus on the form and function of ''Ppanashi''. The findings showed : first, from the corpus, it was found that among the various usages of ''Ppanashi'', the ''Ppanashi da'' form is most often used. The number of appearances of the top 15 verbs that preceded ''Ppanashi'' accounted for more than 50% of the total in the ''Written Japanese corpus'' and ''Spoken Japanese corpus.'' We could say they were the most frequently used verbs co-occur with ''Ppanashi''. These verbs are considered to be the typical examples of teaching ''Ppanashi''. On the other hand, the case alternation phenomenon was observed in ''transitive verb + Ppanashi '', and it was found that the focus is shifted from the action subject to the object case as a speech function, but the transitive verb's function of ''implying the action subject'' is still in operation. This paper compares the results of the above discussion with those of previous studies, and proposes a method for teaching Japanese in the field and in the future. |
