推動我國國際教育有效途徑之探討：借鏡澳洲國際教育

The Effective Approaches of Promoting International Education in Taiwan: Taking Australian International Education as Reference

本文旨在透過分析澳洲2021年11月發布之《澳洲國際教育策略2021-2030》之內涵與特色，探討我國推動國際教育的有效途徑。首先概要說明我國和澳洲的國際教育現況，其次說明澳洲在Covid-19之後採取的4項新策略：多樣化、滿足澳洲技術所需、以學生為中心及成長與全球競爭力。本文參酌其策略並分析其特色，再考量台灣環境之後，提出3點建議作為我國推動國際教育的參考：1.研議推動國際教育時，應考量產業因素。2.鼓勵大學採取有效措施，增進本國學生與外籍學生的之交流接觸。3.重視外籍學生在台灣求學與生活感受。

The purpose of this research was to try to find the effective approaches of promoting international education in Taiwan through analyzing the contents and features of 《 The Australian Strategy for International Education 2021-2030》 which was released on October 2021 by Australia government after Covid-19 pandemic. First, the situations of Taiwan and Australia international education were outlined. Then the four new strategies of Australian international education were examined which included diversification, meeting Australia’s skills needs, students at the center and growth and global competitiveness. Finally, after taking Australian international education strategies as a reference and considering the situation in Taiwan, several suggestions were made: 1. to consider industrial factors when discussing promoting international education. 2. to encourage universities to take effective steps to enhance the contact and exchange opportunities between local and international students. 3. to pay much attention to the feelings and experiences of study and life of international students in Taiwan.
