The main purpose of this study was to explore vocational senior high school teachers’ perception on current status and effectiveness of the “High Schools’ Excellent Actualization Program”. There were four dimensions included such as student learning, curriculum development, the teaching profession, and administrative efficiency. Firstly, a questionnaire was adopted to investigate the teachers’ perception of this program. Then, according to the results of the survey, six principals and directors of high-quality special schools were invited to propose their opinions and suggestions on the program. In this study, 1,200 formal questionnaires were distributed, of which 983 valid questionnaires were issued, and the effective questionnaire response rate was 82%. Several statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, single-sample t-test, independent sample t-test, dependent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA were used in data processing. In this study, the questionnaire and interview results were comprehensively analyzed and discussed. Finally, specific suggestions are put forward based on the above research conclusions, which serve as references for related units and researchers on the effectiveness of the excellent actualization program policy and follow-up research. |
