Lydia H.Liu’s “New Translation Theory,” Xie Tianzhen’s “Medio-Translatology” and Cao Shunqing’s “Linguistic Variations Studies,” which were all born out of comparative literature, not only form a sparkling spectrum like three sisters born out of one mother but also guide a way to build up medio-translatology in general. Mutually demonstrative in methodology, mutually recognizable in concepts and mutually complementary in tasks, the three notions all construct a variety of treasure-house of medio-translatology in a broad sense and contibute a lot to comparative literature as a subject. |
