"The study aimed to explore the relationship of principal coherent leadership and teacher academic optimism by analyzing the correlation between principal coherent leadership and teacher academic optimism and testing the effect of principal coherent leadership on teacher academic optimism. Structural equation model was conducted after a questionnaire survey was adopted by sampling 468 elementary school and junior high school teachers in Taiwan. The findings showed that the correlation between principal coherent leadership and teacher academic optimism was significantly positive, and principal coherent leadership significantly and positively affected teacher academic optimism. It is recommended that educational leaders and school members should enhance coherence and consensus, foster positive school climate and collaborative culture, develop professional learning communities and learning organization, and get empowered to take educational accountability." |
