With the trend of globalization, the new residents have become important members of Taiwanese society, and attention must be paid to the education of the children of the new residents and further in line with international standards. Therefore, the Ministry of Education promotes the "International Workplace Experience Activity for New Resident Children", with a view to expanding the multilingual and international employability of new residents' children. This article aims to explore the current status of the implementation of the international education for the new residents, analyze it using document analysis, examine the handling of this activities in the past three years from 105 to 107, and conclude that the success of the international workplace experience activities for the children of new residents has the following characteristics: (1) Combining technical and vocational education with international education. (2) Itinerary planning, manufacturer arrangement and student selection are matched with each other. (3) Implement language training camps. (4) Conduct cross-sub-project links to strengthen and continue the effects of workplace experience activities. (5) Establish a quality supervision mechanism and appropriately adjust the activity plan for the following year. The experience and characteristics of the promotion of international workplace experience activities for children of new residents can be used by educational authorities and schools to strengthen the depth and breadth of international exchanges between primary and secondary schools. |
