This study aimed to investigate teachers’ professional development evaluation and teacher efficacy of special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools. The participants in the study were special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools in five municipalities. The conclusions of this study were as follows: The current condition of teachers’ professional development evaluation and teacher efficacy of special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools was highly above than medium degree; there were significant differences caused by the variations in years of teaching, ages, education, school systems, and experience of participating in the evaluation in Teachers’ Professional Development Evaluation of special education teachers; there were significant differences caused by the variations in ages, education, and school systems in teacher efficacy of special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools; teachers’ professional development evaluation of special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools could predict teacher efficacy. The study offered some implications for educational administrations, special education teachers in high schools and vocational high schools and future researchers. |
