This study focuses on Taiwanese Japanese learners who are studying at the university in Taiwan. The longitudinal data of request conversation by role-play were collected, in order to confirm the existence of change in request language behavior under the course of learning in university and to solve the problem of the request language behavior. Three kinds of data were collected. They are Taiwanese Japanese learners' longitudinal data, Japanese native speakers' and Chinese native speakers' data. In this paper, the beginning of the request expression of the request central part was extracted from the above data and was further analyzed. As a result, differences in the use of request expression were observed from the data above. Moreover, the request expression which the learners used is not necessarily changing into the good direction such as proper usage stays or error usage becomes proper usage. I would like to improve the instruction of request expression based on t he results of both the previous research and this paper from now on. |
