從北杜夫的《即將消失的故事》收錄的短篇作品上發現與北杜夫從前的作品有關連的部分及內容上重覆的部分。但同時也從中看得出一種新嘗試，即是要打破身為「抒情詩人」的自我形象。本論文目的是以3篇短篇小說〈都會〉、〈水之音〉及〈湖〉為對象，透過與北杜夫從前的作品之比較及分析，並且明白《即將消失的故事》裡呈現的新嘗試，其具體內容到底是什麼？

The short story recorded in Kita Morio's The Disappearing Story has parts that are related to the content of Kita Morio's past works, and parts that overlap in content, but at the same time, the new attempt is also shown. That is the destruction of the self-image as a ''lyric poet''. This article deals with three short stories, ''Urban,'' ''Sound of Water,'' and ''Mizuumi,'' and through a comparison and analysis with Kita Morio's past work, and specifically clarify what is the new attempt of The Disappearing Story?
