Educational policies change in response to the time. This leads to the increase workload for the part-time administration teachers. Thus, principal's leadership plays a vital role in promoting and improving the present status scene of education. The study probes into the correlations between transformational leadership of junior high school principals and willingness to stay for teachers doubling as school administrators. Targeting junior high school teachers in Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli, I have collected 320 valid questionnaires and analyzed by statistic. With these I find that: 1. Teachers are satisfied with current transformational leadership and willingness to stay for the administration teachers; 2. Transformational leadership and willingness to stay for the administration teachers are highly correlated; 3. Transformational leadership has a positive influence on the willingness to stay for the administration teachers. Based on these results, this research concludes with concrete suggestions for the authorities concerned as a reference to develop policies and for schools to promote them. |
