First, this research initialized the competence evaluation index with the outcomes of the past security guard competence researches and created professional questionaires. After analyzing the importance and reviewing feedbacks, a final security guard competence evaluation index was completed. Then, the actual security business, security guard managers, who are respond for recruiting, and security guards were interviewed with the questionaires. Finally, the outcomes were compiled and analyzed, in order to understand the “essential” competence from the subjects’ views and the self evaluation on “already-have” competences. The impacts of the essential competences, the competences that are needed to be enhanced, the differences between the “essential” competences and “already-have” competences, and population statistics were ranked. |
