This article introduces flexible management as a strategy of resource that has been used for years in business administration. Various featured systems in nursing management among domestic and foreign healthcare organizations are compiled as for solutions to solve for resolving the issue of nursing shortage. Flexible management includes functional flexibility, numerical flexibility, divisional flexibility, temporal flexibility, and wage flexibility. Besides proactive implementation of ten major changes in nursing, establishing a high- quality of workplace and satisfying nurses' needs in their work and individual lives, individual and life can promote their job satisfaction, professional commitment, and attraction of workplace to them,the workplace for nurses. Furthermore, this may extend nurses'job retention and alleviate solve the problem of nurses shortage. |
