Localization is an essential concept of programming gifted education in the postmodern society emphasizing decentralization. In this paper, site/school-based management models of gifted education are presented first. A conceptual framework of cultivating the talented in a district is further discussed based on the cases of rural gifted educationin USA. The framework, in light of space aesthetics, includes five elements that imply interrelated dimensions of localized gifted education. |
